Cape Town – South African rapper AKA, real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, has taken to social media to share a throwback video of himself and his late fiancée Anele “Nellie” Tembe.
On his Instagram page, AKA shared a TikTok video of himself and Anele dancing in the kitchen while she prepared a meal.

He did not caption the video.
Anele died earlier this year after she fell from the tenth floor of a hotel in Cape Town.
Since her death, AKA has pulled away from the limelight.
On Tembes’s birthday, October 11, he released a new song called Tears Run Dry, dedicated to her.
“I saw you in my dreams, maybe that’s why I am too terrified to go to sleep. Not because I don’t want to let go of you again, but because when I wake up reality is deep,” AKA sings in the song.
He continues: “Go Nellie, its [sic] your birthday. We are going to party like its [sic] your birthday…in heaven with your mommy.”
