Cape Town – Costa Titch’s death came as a surprise to many. He passed away suddenly after performing at Ultra in Johannesburg in March.
Costa collapsed on stage after his performance and his death left many fans shocked.
His family has been waiting patiently as investigations into his death continue.
Lara Langveld, Costa Titch’s mother, hinted at suspicions that the singer was poisoned before he died. She took to Costa’s Instagram page to reveal her thoughts on the matter.
“The National Health Laboratory Services can take months or even years to finalise toxicology tests. This means I am not the only mother in South Africa that has to wait for answers. It also means if anyone did poison my son, they could get away with murder. I’m pleading for help to get answers as even the police cannot do anything without these medical results,” she wrote.

However, Langveld is not the only one who seems to think so, as US psychic Kandis Starr revealed the “spirit” of Titch communicated with her and claimed that Costa’s death was a “setup”, according to her YouTube page.
She started by saying Costa was a “good soul” and had a heart of gold and in trying to reach out to him, she asked Costa’s spirit what happened and he said he “can’t breathe” and that his death was not natural.
The video later reveals that Costa had taken a shot shortly before he died and that he should have had water instead.
If the happenings of the video prove to be true, it will mean investigations would need to go in another direction to determine whether there was any foul play involved in his death.

According to The South African, SA law dictates a post-mortem examination or autopsy determines the cause of death following an unnatural death.
“The autopsy is done at a Forensic Pathology Laboratory in the area where the death took place. The pathology medical practitioner will issue a death certificate, and the body will be released for burial once the autopsy has been completed,” the statement says.
