Cape Town – South African media personality Anele Mdoda will host the Miss South Africa 2022 finale on August 13 at Time Square’s SunBet Arena in Gauteng.
The Miss South Africa organisers took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce the news.
“She is vibrant, energetic, talented and yes of course your #MissSA2022 host@Anele. @Anele is one of South Africa’s best-loved radio and television personalities. She will definitely be adding some colour at our pageant finale on 13 August at SunBet Arena @timesquareza,” wrote the organisers in a tweet.

According to Channel24, Anele has been associated with Miss South Africa since 2013. She’s served as a judge on the show five times. Last year she was a co-host alongside Survivor SA presenter Nico Panagio.
This year, however, she will be hosting the show on her own.
The finale will be broadcast live on Mzansi Magic (DStv 161) and M-Net (DStv 101).

Tickets for the pageant can be bought via the Miss South Africa app and website as well as from Ticketmaster. General access tickets cost from R250 to R450, while VIP tickets are R1 500 and include a glamorous red-carpet and pre-event celebration.
Competing for the crown in the top 10 are Anarzade Omar, Ayanda Thabethe, Itumeleng Parage, Keaoleboga Nkashe, Lebogang Mahlangu, Luvé Meyer, Luyanda Zuma, Ndavi Nokeri, Pearl Ntshehi and Tamsyn Jack.
