Johannesburg — The Friends of Amstel concert is back this year and this time, it will be a two-day extravaganza with a lineup that showcases some of SA’s hottest artists.
According to Amstel, they are doing things differently this year, as the concert will take place across two days, with each day having its own unique lineup. Amstel took to Instagram and released the promotional poster with the lineups for each day.
“The official #FriendsOfAmstelSA 2-days premium lifestyle experience line-up. It’s all going down on the 11th and 12th of November. Which day are you coming to?”

The headlines acts for the 11 November show includes K.O, DJ Zinhle, Morda, DJ Kent, among many others rising talents. Meanwhile, the big names set to perform on 12 November includes Uncle Waffles, Nasty C, Kabza De Small and many others.
According to TimesLIVE, Boipelo Malao, Amstel marketing manager, said the concert will bring together the biggest artists in SA for a premium lifestyle event.
“Friends of Amstel is more than an event. It’s a premium lifestyle experience that brings together some of the biggest acts in Africa to collaborate with the most talented up and coming musicians in the country. It’s an integrated experience that’s about cutting-edge new music and pushing the boundaries of music, culture and lifestyle.”
Last year’s show was headlined by Nigerian superstar, Tems, and featured performances from the likes of Scorpion Kings, DJ Zinhle, K.O, Samthing Soweto, DBN Gogo, AKA, Amaroto, Shimza, Njelic, Lerato Kganyago, Kamo Mphela and Young Stunna.
