Cape Town – South African DJ Uncle Waffles, real name Lungelihle Zwane, has officially been verified on Twitter.
She took to her Twitter page to announce the blue badge news next to her name.

According to IOL, having a blue tick next to your name on social media is a great way to help distinguish the authenticity of accounts, especially those in the public eye.
Uncle Waffles’ news of being verified got tongues wagging.

While many fans flooded her timeline with congratulatory messages, others questioned her verified status.
One tweep asked how she was verified and yet DJ Prince Kaybee who has been in the industry way longer than her is not.

Waffles is very new to the celebrity scene, having only recently learned to DJ during the Covid-19 pandemic.
A video of her performing on the decks went viral a few months ago.
She has since become one of Mzansi’s favorite DJs with her career skyrocketing from performing in the country to performing internationally.
