Cape Town — Lungelihle Zwane, famously known as Uncle Waffles, has just become the first amapiano sensation to rock the international stage at the jam-packed Wireless Festival last weekend.
According to IOL, this annual extravaganza in London is a hip-hop and rap lover’s dream come true, featuring global icons like rap queen Nicki Minaj, style icon Doja Cat and our very own afropop sensation Tyla.
Standing tall among these giants was the equally talented Uncle Waffles, who’s been carving her name into music history with electrifying performances, a vibrant social media presence and a unique fashion sense.
Taking to her socials, Waffle’s couldn’t contain her excitement about this monumental achievement, sharing a video of herself owning the international stage.
