Cape Town – Despite her fame, music star Uncle Waffles has not escaped the trolls and critics on social media after she appeared in a video with American jewellers Ice Box.
The Tanzania hitmaker appeared in promotional video for Ice Box in which she browsed the store and learnt about the jewellery-making process. However, despite Uncle Waffles being her same charismatic self, she received a ton of criticism for her appearance, especially her hair, teeth and nails.

The original video, which Ice Box has since removed, attracted many comments that targeted her appearance. Unbeknownst to Uncle Waffles, the video had many social media users – particularly US ones – criticising her appearance. This included commentary about her platinum blonde glue-on wig, make-up, teeth, and missing acrylic nails, The South African reported.
