Cape Town – Tributes continue to pour in on social media after the untimely death of hip hop, DJ Dimplez.
His family confirmed his death in a statement on Sunday.
DJ Dimplez, whose real name is Boitumelo Mooi, allegedly died from a brain hemorrhage.

“He passed away March 6, from a sudden brain haemorrhage. We ask for your space and respect as we process Tumi’s tragic passing. Thank you for your understanding,” read the statement.
According to TimesLive, DJ Dimplez was the founder and pioneer of the Pop Bottles event series which is a celebration of the culture that brought celebrities under in one huge party across South Africa and abroad.
IOL reports that the DJ was known to be one of the people at the helm of pushing local hip hop.
