Cape Town — On the occasion of Father’s Day, dads worldwide embraced the chance to bond with their children and loved ones. Yet, Tony Forbes experienced a bittersweet day, as he marked his first Father’s Day without his son, AKA, who passed away in February earlier this year.
Despite the profound loss of his eldest son, Tony, affectionately known as Papa Mega, devoted the day to his daughter Sarah, whom he shares with his second wife after his divorce from Lynn Forbes, AKA’s mother, as reported by The South African.
“Thank you so much Sarah Forbes! You are so thoughtful and full of love. I just love my gifts. You are my favorite daughter ❤️????,” he wrote.

Tony and the rest of the Forbes family have endured a difficult last few months after AKA’s death, dealing with tons of speculation around the circumstances of his death, as they await the results of his murder investigation.
Many eagle-eyed fans spotted Tony during the memorial service – his demeanor, striking resemblance, and impressive dance moves left no room for doubt that AKA was undeniably his son.
Fans said he was a carbon copy of his dad, even the fact that they supported the same football team (Manchester United).
