Cape Town – It’s been 17 years since the Maimanes got married, and Mmusi took to social media over the weekend to write a heartfelt message in which he celebrated the love between him and his wife Natalie.
“Today, 17 years on, we still married. Thank you Jesus. Much love,” he captioned a picture in which he and his wife sat in a restaurant, seemingly celebrating over an intimate dinner.

According to Kaya 959, the couple has three children together, Kgosi, Kgalaletso, and Kutlwano-Grace.
Last year, the couple opened up about their happy marriage, giving social media a glimpse into how they dealt with having public lives, and shared some of the secrets behind the success of their relationship.
“We laugh.
“I think it sounds simplistic, but I wish someone had told me that earlier on because sometimes we take everything seriously. Laughing means we have a point of connection,” Maimane told Chim’s Talk Africa, at the time.
According to The South African, the couple met at a Muldersdrift church as teenagers and started dating after developing a firm friendship. Eight months later, the couple was married.
The couple has often shared some of their beautiful moments together:
