Cape Town — South African actress Thuli Phongolo made her return to social media and posted a beautiful headshot of herself and her new glow made her followers think she was covering up pregnancy.
Thuli deleted the posts on her Instagram page except for the headshot. She captioned the post: “Somebody’s gonna save you one day… and that person happens to be yourself 🤍.”
Fans went wild with speculation that she was definitely keeping a bun in the oven and took to the comments to let her know.
“She looks preg,” @mukhethwa_07 wrote.
“First thing that came to my mind…preggy face,” @tshegofatso.kgwele said.

After all the pregnancy speculation, Thuli set the record straight, saying: “I think my edges are making me look pregnant guys but don’t worry I’m firing the whole team for this mess up cause I told them! Anyway THANK YOU for the love guys 😌❤️,” she added.
Thuli has endured a difficult few months following her incident with her partner Maphorisa and they issued a joint statement saying they dealt with things privately, TimesLIVE reported.
“People are so disrespectful, forgetting we can also become disrespectful … just because we choose not to be disrespectful doesn’t mean we don’t know how to do so. It just means we know how to treat people well, you think before you say things, you treat people with consideration. Being disrespectful to me doesn’t say anything about me, it says a lot about you, because you are the person that finds it easy to disrespect yourself,” she said.
