Cape Town – Rapper and celebrity Cassper Nyovest has come out and asked for prayers over the country, bemoaning the current state of affairs in South Africa.
Nyovest is known for ranting about issues affecting the country.
He took to Twitter to ask for prayers over the dark clouds hanging over “out beloved country”.
“Things aren’t good in South Africa right now. There’s a dark cloud that I personally think we need to pray over. God bless our beloved country. Monate o fedile,” he wrote.

Fellow South African celebrity Denise Zimba echoed Nyovest’s sentiments when she also tweeted, complaining about how things have fallen off and described the quality of life as “horrendous”.
“South Africa weights heavy on my heart. 1of the most beautiful countries in the world – the food, weather, people, diverse cultures, parties, experience. I don’t understand how we have fallen so bad. The quality of life is horrendous! People are suffering, hustling day2day,” she said.

This isn’t the first time that Nyovest has complained about the state of South Africa and the difficulties that people are facing. He tweeted last week that he was struggling financially, despite his status of being one of the rich and famous.
