Cape Town — The TikToker who shared a video of herself passionately kissing the man who followers were led to assume was her stepfather has revealed it was a joke that had been blown out of proportion.
In the video, the couple was recorded embracing and kissing one another romantically in front of an audience who were visibly pleased that the couple had just tied the knot.
“Marrying my stepdad was the best decision I’ve ever made,” the TikToker captioned the video.

However, the user named @christywho_ shared that the man she married was not her stepdad.
She revealed that she had lost her brother — who was very close to her — in a motorcycle accident, after which she became really close with her brother’s best friend. Their relationship developed until they decided to tie the knot, confirming that her husband was not her stepdad.
