Cape Town – Motswana singer, songwriter and CEO, Odirile Ishmael Sento, popularly known as Vee or Vee Mampeezy, has taken to Instagram to open up about his divorce, saying “the pain is real”.
Vee was married to Kagiso Sento, with the divorce becoming official earlier this month. On November 23, Vee described the divorce as a “sad day”. He took to Facebook to express his pain.
“A painful day to be alive, comforting my daughter,” he said in a post.
In an Instagram post, Vee opened up about the pain he’s experiencing and the perception people around him and his wife may have of the separated couple.
“The pain is real,” he said on Instagram.
“I’m thinking about my kids every second, I want to know what they are thinking, I want to know how they are feeling about this decision their parents made, do they feel it’s a selfish decision, do they feel it’s good for our happiness.
“I’m also thinking about our followers and fans do they feel we disappointed them, those who made us role models for their relationships what are they saying to their partners now, Parents who have kids who love us what are they saying to them when they see us trending with such issues?”

“Our partners in business/sponsors what are they saying about this? I’m a Christian im asking myself what is the church saying about this situation. What is the honest opinion of our friends and family about our situation. Am I ready to be called a divorcee?,” he asked, as he continued, expressing what he carried in his heart.
“This is some of the questions that pops up in my mind that brings a lot of fear to face the world.”
“But I have to Man up,” he added.
