Cape Town — South African rapper K.O has responded to an X user who claimed that he was gay, with the rapper quick to put the rumour to bed.
Popular and controversial X user, Chris Excel, took to the app and implied that K.O has never been seen with a woman or even been rumoured to have a girlfriend.
“KO once said ‘Mina ngiyintsimbi edlezinye’ (I’m a different metal) and we’ve never saw him with his girlfriend or even a rumour that he is dating a woman,” Excel said.

The post didn’t go down very well with K.O and the rapper was quick to respond and clear the air with an X post of his own.
“Faceless master of misinformation and divisiveness smh… FOH with whatever bs you’re trying to insinuate. If you must know, the lady in my life has an actual high earning professional life, she gives zero fks about Likes and Views! ‘When the hate don’t work they start telling lies’ hamb’ uyofa sathane (go and die satan),” he said.

According to TimesLIVE, it is not the first time that K.O has had to address rumours about his partner. He said he was a discreet guy who kept his dating life private.
“People can’t ruin sh*t they don’t know. It’s that simple for me. I don’t need to post a lot of sh*t that is personal to me because I just want to protect my energy.”
“I’m a rapper, you’re gonna know about these raps and you’re gonna know about these records I’m putting out. You don’t have to know about where I lay my head, like it’s none of your f***ing business,” he added.
