Cape Town – Famous South African hip-hop pioneer Lavida Nota was recently hospitalised after being struck by a car, sharing the news on social media.
He has played a significant role in the South African music industry and has helped numerous artists rise to fame.
Nota revealed the unfortunate news that would likely sadden most hip-hop enthusiasts.
He posted a hospital photo on Sunday morning as evidence, explaining: “Here’s proof that I’m alive… I was struck by a car, and the driver was using TikTok!”

Fans expressed their concerns and wished him a speedy recovery.
