Cape Town – Kairo Forbes, daughter of DJ Zinhle and rapper mogul AKA, just snagged a nomination for Favourite African Kids Influencers at the Nickelodean Kids Choice Awards.
Proud mom DJ Zinhle couldn’t contain her excitement, taking to Instagram to shower her superstar daughter with love.
“Who’s superstar baby is this? I’m so proud of my baby @kairo.forbes.. Please help me congratulate Kairo on her @nickelodeon_africa nomination..” she wrote.

At just 8 years old, Forbes will be competing against Nigeria’s DJ Wysei, Wizkid’s son Boluwatife Balogun and NGO Dream Catchers Academy. Undeterred by the tough competition, she took to her timeline in a burst of excitement to share the news with her fans.

In 2023, Forbes clinched the title of Social Media Kid Influencer of The Year at the 3rd annual South African Social Media Awards.
Once news had broke, she wasted no time expressing her heartfelt gratitude across her social media platforms.
