Cape Town – South African media personality Somizi Mhlongo had tweeps wilding at his chilly response when he was asked about his estranged husband, Mohale Moutaung’s whereabouts on The Braai Show With Cassper Nyovest.
Mhlongo was the special guest on this week’s episode.
The duo, who are very good friends, prepared a meal together and had an honest chat about life, including the effects of the lockdown on their careers, the early days of Somizi’s career, and fatherhood.
According to IOL, Cassper asked the former SA Idols judge about the whereabouts of Mohale.
Not holding anything back, Somizi spoke about his estranged hubby for the first time.
“He’s dead, he’s departed from the earth,” he replied.

His spicy response had the Twitter Timelines (TLs) in a frenzy.
According to TimesLIVE, Somgaga, as he is affectionally known, also shared, during the show that he would be expanding his business ventures and all things will be Sompire.
Mohale and Somizi made headlines earlier this year after allegations of abuse were made public.
Mohale, in a leaked recording, claimed that Somizi broke his ribs and nearly knocked out his two teeth in a jealously-fueled domestic dispute in their Joburg home last year.
As a result, Somizi had to take a break from his gigs, including Metro FM and Idols SA.
