Cape Town – South African award-winning musician Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, better known by her stage name, Makhadzi, received a warm welcome from the Botswana government minister and the royals of the Batlokwa tribe on Wednesday this week.
This was ahead of her one-woman show in Tlokweng.
The show was set to take place on Saturday, according to Daily Sun.
Makhadzi wore a Setswana traditional attire to meet the esteemed guests and was showered with various gifts and praised for the strides she has taken in her career.
She was left “teary” by the warm welcome.
Makhadzi took to Instagram to share some snaps from the welcoming event and expressed her gratitude.
“I express my gratitude to the leaders of this country for allowing me to have my show here, Botswana is the only country that has shown me so much love even more than my own country. I want to reach out to the younger ones… ” said Makhadzi…
