Cape Town — Springbok Captain, Siya Kolisi and his teammate Ox Nche were in the stands to watch their favourite team, Liverpool FC, book their spot in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.
Liverpool made it seven wins out of seven in this season’s Champions League after they beat French side LOSC Lille 2-1 which kept them top of this season’s table. The two Springboks stars were in attendance for a special European night at Anfield.
Taking to Instagram, Siya shared photos with Ox while at Anfield. The two were spotted in the stands ahead of the game, while Ox also captured a picture in front of the famous ‘This is Anfield’ sign. The two were all smiles after Liverpool’s win.

It is no surprise that the two are Liverpool fans, with Siya enjoying a particularly close connection with the club and its former manager, Jurgen Klopp. The two have met several times in Cape Town and Liverpool and collaborated on a special Adidas advert together. Klopp also revealed he now supports the Springboks because of Siya.
