Cape Town – South African comedian and media personality Siv Ngesi has expressed his anger at Stage 6 load shedding in the country.
In a series of tweets, Ngesi appeared to be calling out the ANC for the electricity crisis.
Ngesi had responded, “Here it goes SA!”, to one of Eskom’s load shedding announcements this week saying that the country would be implementing Stage 6 earlier than anticipated due to shortages.
Another one of his tweets simply asked: “South Africa?”, after someone else had tweeted: “Yoh ha ah I’m tired of living in the ghetto”.
Ngesi, who has a huge following, said he missed the times where ANC supporters used to attack him for his comments against the ANC, but said he knew even ANC’s biggest fans admitted defeat.

The South African reported that load shedding has had a detrimental effect on local businesses and left locals hopeless as they now experienced up to 12 hours a day without power.
With winter on the horizon, the situation is much worse as people cannot cook nor use their heaters to keep their homes warm.
