California – American singer-songwriter, and only child of singer and actor Elvis Presley and actress Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie Presley has died at the age of 54.
According to The Guardian, Lisa’s mother, Priscilla confirmed the death of her daughter in a statement.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
“She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment,” the 77-year-old was quoted as saying.
The family was reportedly shocked by her passing and requested privacy as they attempt to deal with the death of Lisa Marie.

According to reports, the 54-year-old had been rushed to the hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest on Thursday morning.
TMZ reports that Lisa Marie’s housekeeper had found her unresponsive at her house in Calabasas. Her ex-husband was also at the house at the time and performed CPR until paramedics arrived and took over.
Lisa Marie was the sole heir to her father’s estate. Presley developed a career in the music business and issued three albums: To Whom It May Concern in 2003, Now What in 2005, and Storm & Grace in 2012.
Her first album reached Gold certification with the Recording Industry Association of America. Presley also released non-album singles, including duets with her father using tracks he had released before he died.
Tributes for the late artist poured in on social media.
