Cape Town — South African music superstar, Tyla, was among a host of star-studded celebrities to attend the Prelude to the 2024 Olympic Games at the Foundation Louis Vuitton.
Tyla was the star of the show at the glamourous pre-olympic event that was hosted by LVMH chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault, Comcast NBCUniversal chairman and CEO Brian Roberts.
Celebrities, Charlize Theron, Serena Williams, Rosalía, and Omar Sy co-hosted the event that alsoi featured USA Basketball legend, LeBron James, music star, Mick Jagger, and actress Zendaya, The South African reported.
Tyla looked stunning in a mix of high fashion and athleticism. She was styled by Vogue and wore a black men’s parachute pants with matching jacket, which she paired with gold chain belt, a black bralette with gold jewellery and a black heel.
“@Tyla is bringing Y2K popstar energy into 2024,” Vogue said on Instagram.

For her music performance, she wore an oversized Louis Vuitton jersey with short spandex shorts and thigh-high boots with thick white laces. She performed some of her chart-topping hits including Thata Ahh and Jump. She got the crowd jumping with her energetic performances.
Tyla capped her performance with her chart-topping hit Water, leaving everyone in high spirits.
Her presence at the Prelude to the 2024 Olympic Games not only added a touch of popstar glamour but also set the tone for the upcoming Olympics and she was at the epicentre of the glamours occasion.

Tyla topped the trend charts across social media. Ranging from posts about her outfit to her performance, to standing side by-side with some of the biggest international names including Snoop Dogg, Pharrell Williams, who she jokingly said her mother would like to meet, fashion icon, Anna Wintour, and WNBA (Women’s National Basketball Association) star, Angel Reese.
