Cape Town – Pearl Thusi and DJ Zinhle added another storyline to their long history this week when Pearl revealed that Zinhle is actually not married, but engaged. This sent fans into raptures.
Pearl and Zinhle are allegedly very close friends but Pearl let some information slip, which many of Zinhle’s friends were not happy about.
She was speaking to Moozlie on her YouTube show “Black Rose Kitchen”, where she invites celebrities to make cocktails and share some juicy stories.
A segment of her interview is trending online after she asked Moozlie about her thoughts regarding babies and marriage within their respective friendship circles.
Twitter user @ThisIsColbert posted a snippet from the interview where Thusi explained why Zinhle is not married, as per the Zulu culture. Thusi said that there are three things that need to happen before you are officially married by Zulu traditions.
“DJ Zinhle ain’t married… That’s an engagement.”?
Pearl Thusi clarifies.

Many fans are feeling disgruntled by Pearl’s comments, saying that even though she might have been correct with what she said, it was not her place to reveal such important information.

According to TshisaLIVE, Zinhle and her husband, Morda (formerly Murda Bongz), moved in together after taking their relationship to the next level.
In episode 1 of season 2 DJ Zinhle: The Unexpected which aired in August last year, Zinhle revealed she accepted Mörda’s proposal when he asked for her hand in marriage.
“I never had ambitions to get married. I never wanted it. Bongani and I spent a lot of time talking about it, thinking about what we want to do. I’m excited to be his wife. I’m excited to try something I never thought would happen for me,” DJ Zinhle said.
