Cape Town – South African actress Thuso Mbedu flew the SA flag proudly at the premiere of Fast X, the 10th instalment of the hit Fast and Furious movie franchise.
Mbedu was on the red carpet for the grand affair, where cast members of the show such as Vin Diesel (Dom Toretto), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty Ortiz), John Cena (Jakob Toretto) and South Africa’s own star Charlize Theron (Cypher) were all in attendance.
Thuso’s stock has risen exponentially since her breakthrough, securing roles in many international movies such The Woman King and The Underground Rail Road, The South African reported.
Taking to her Instagram timeline, Mbedu wrote about her experience and what it was like for her to share the stage with the movies stars. She posted some snaps of herself on the red carpet, a picture of Vin Diesel and his famous car from the franchise, and a fun video of her skipping
“Had an absolutely great time at the #ctaopblockparty where we, with the FastX family, celebrated all the amazing work @charlizeafrica and the @ctaop have done over the last 16 years. To hear the amazing stories and to be in a space full of love and laughter was everything ?,” she wrote.
