Cape Town — Springbok captain, Siya Kolisi, got candid in his latest Instagram post and continued a back and forth of verbal jabs between himself and his Springbok teammate, Eben Etzebeth.
Siya thought it would be funny to share a snap of himself wearing his wife, Rachel’s, headband while he was sitting in his car, saying that Rachel thought he looked good.
“@rachelkolisi said I couldn’t rock her head band🤷🏽♂️ 😎 @oakley,” Siya said. Rachel commented to clear the air that the comments were in fact from their daughter, Keziah.
“Actually was Kezi – she said you’re “embarrassing her” 😂🤣,” she wrote.
Eben did not find the funny side to Siya’s post and he was quick to let him know.
“Well… You Don’t!,” he said simply.
Siya was clearly stung by the cold shoulder treatment and replied to Eben saying: “@ebenetzebeth4 my heart can’t take this anymore.”
Siya and Eben have been beefing over social media in recent times ever since Eben gave Siya the cold shoulder for a comment he made on his Instagram post.
In the post, Eben revealed he was happy to be back with the Sharks for the season and Siya thought he would show support to his former team and teammate.
Kolisi responded with a couple of affectionate emojis, but the gargantuan second-row wasn’t having it and poked a bit of fun at the Boks skipper.
“If you not in my team, I don’t want you in my comments!” Eben responded sharply.
“I’m sorry I was just passing by couldn’t (help) myself! Saying hello from the other side!” Siya said in response.
