Cape Town — Global amapiano superstar Uncle Waffles has some exciting news for her fans as she and KFC announced that the limited edition Uncle Waffles burger is back!
Uncle Waffles and KFC first partnered in 2022 to make the burger and now, in a brand new campaign called “Hack The Streets”, the star revealed the limited edition burger will now be available at more stores across the country.
“The wait is over. South Africa’s most exclusive burger has dropped. Get it through Street Culture across all major cities. Secure the bag with some exclusive Uncle Waffles KFC and Uncle Waffles merch. Drip is forever. Get out there and Hack The Streets with KFC” she said in a promotional video for KFC.

According to IOL, this is part of a wonderful celebration of the places and spaces that have shaped her as an artist and as an African. She said the collaboration is about her being able to take her fans on a trip down memory lane .
“Being able to show fans my journey in music and life is both extraordinary and humbling,” she said.
According to Hloni Mohope, marketing director of KFC, the one-of-a-kind collaboration has not only been exciting but inspirational.
Mohope further says the “collaboration has enabled us to tell the story of the global success of Uncle Waffles, to spread the beauty of Amapiano, and to celebrate it with an exclusive burger that will only be available for a limited time.
Uncle Waffles burst onto the scene in 2021 and has grown rapidly to become one of the biggest and most recognisable amapiano artists across the w0rld. She has had her music success take her all over the world, taking amapiano to a global stage.
So far, she has released two chart-topping albums and has managed to perform at major international events such as Coachella and The Met Gala afterparty.
