Cape Town — South African TV and radio personality Carol Ofori marked her 10th wedding anniversary with her husband, Greg Ofori, during a special trip to Mauritius.
The couple, who married in August 2014 and have two children, Sena and Serwaa, chose the picturesque island for their celebration.
Carol described the anniversary as “magical,” reflecting on how the trip to Mauritius highlighted their growth and journey together. She noted that the romantic and tranquil setting perfectly matched their desire to celebrate their milestone in a meaningful way.
In an interview with The Citizen, Carol emphasised the significance of the location: “Celebrating 10 years of marriage in such a beautiful setting was truly magical. It reminded us of how far we’ve come together and how much we’ve grown. We wanted to mark this milestone somewhere special, and Mauritius provided the perfect blend of romance, adventure, and tranquillity.”
According to TimesLIVE, Carol and Greg’s beach photo shoot captured the essence of their decade-long relationship. Carol wore a flowing blue dress, while Greg donned a white shirt and jeans.
Carol described the experience as a dream, expressing that the trip made their anniversary even more special.
“Every moment spent there felt like a dream and having a photo shoot amid such incredible scenery was a reminder of the love and laughter that has defined our decade together. It was a celebration of us and this trip made it more special,” she said.
“It’s a 💙 thing,” Carol wrote.
