Cape Town – South African cricket star Faf Du Plessis is currently playing in the Indian Premier League.
Away from the pitch, he is a doting family man.
Before heading off to India for the latest season of the cricket spectacle, Faf and his wife, Imari and their daughters Amelie and Zoey, took some beautiful family photos on Camps Bay beach in Cape Town.
Both Faf and Imari posted snippets of the day out and the pictures were absolutely beautiful.
“Was so good to be at home for the last month with the family. I’m so grateful for my beautiful family. Cricket time again… Looking forward to getting to the @iplt20 for the start of the season with @royalchallengersbangalore,” Faf said.

Imari also posted some of the pictures to her Instagram timeline where she penned a heartfelt goodbye to her husband before he jetted off to India.
“I have so few words these days. Goodbyes never get easier, they are a revolving door in our lives. I’m so happy we dragged our kids down to a crowded Camps Bay beach on a late afternoon, struggled to get them out of the snacks DURING the shoot which was meant for the AFTERWARDS bribery. Trying to herd our little lambs as they run in opposite direction, carrying a whole camp out down the stairs in a beaded white dress… and trying to smile with people having their pizzas on the beach and watching us ?,” she said.
