Cape Town – Rachel Kolisi has officially removed “wife” from her Instagram bio, signaling to many that her marriage to Springbok captain Siya Kolisi is over.
The couple recently announced their separation and impending divorce, though the reasons behind this shock announcement remain unclear.
Followers on her Instagram quickly noticed the change, with her bio now listing her as a “Student, Mom, Speaker, and Director”, omitting any mention of being a wife, which has disappointed many fans.

Meanwhile, Siya’s Instagram bio still states: “Christian. Husband. Father.”
Siya and Rachel met in 2012, married in 2016, and have supported each other through various milestones, including Siya’s Rugby World Cup victories.
The couple recently returned to South Africa after a stint in Paris, where Siya played for Racing92.
Their split has resonated deeply with fans, who have taken to platforms like X to express their dismay and call for reconciliation.
