Cape Town – South African rugby star Eben Etzebeth took to social media to pen a message dedicated to his wife Anlia, as she celebrated her birthday on March 24.
Etzebeth shared a picture of him and his wife posing with fun props together. Etzebeth was wearing sunglasses and bunny ears while Anlia had a sailor’s hat on with a kissing mouth prop over her own mouth.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY VROU? Ons 1ste verjaardag as man & vrou. Lief vir jou ❤️ #goldottermedia ? #weddingphotobooth,” he said.
TRANSLATION: “Happy birthday my wife. Our first birthday as man and wife. Love you”
Anlia replied in the comments to say: “Dankie my liefste Man!???❤️ (Thank you my lovely husband)

Etzebeth and Anlia got married on February 4 at a wine estate in Franschoek in the Western Cape. The South African reported that the couple met in October 2021 and by April of 2022, Etzebeth proposed and Anlia said yes.
South African rugby captain Siya Kolisi shared a picture of him and Etzebeth sharing a meal together. He captioned it: “Date night ❤️ @ebenetzebeth4”
They also shared an Instagram story of Etzebeth sharing the post to his Instagram story and wrote across the post: “A year ago I got engaged to @Anlia star, this dinner with you”
