Cape Town — Two-time Rugby World Cup winning lock, Eben Etzebeth, celebrated his second wedding anniversary to his wife, Anlia.
The couple met in October 2021 through mutual friends and just four months later, by March 2022, the couple got engaged. By February 2023, the couple tied the knot in a beautiful ceremoney at the La Paris Estate in Franschhoek in Cape Town, The South African reported.
The couple have often shared many adventures together including holidays and the birth of their child, which happened shortly after the Springboks’ 2023 Rugby World Cup title in October.
In an Instagram post, the couple made posts to celebrate each other. Anlia posted a picture of the couple sharing a moment on their special day and wrote a touching message to her hubby.
“Happy Anniversary my lief!! Dankie dat jy my die gelukkigste vrou op aarde maak!! (Happy Anniversary my love!! Thank you for making me the luckiest woman on earth!!)” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Eben posted a picture of himself carrying his wife on their wedding day and he thanked her for two incredible years together.
“Beste 2 jaar van my lewe ♥️4-2-2023♥️ (Best 2 years of my life),” he wrote.
