SEE | DJ Oskido celebrates son’s Master’s Degree milestone in Barcelona

Cape Town – South African music icon DJ Oskido recently took to Instagram to celebrate his son’s achievement of earning a master’s degree abroad in Barcelona

The proud father couldn’t be happier about his son’s independence.

Over the weekend, Oskido shared heartfelt posts showcasing his son’s graduation from Geneva Business School with a Master’s in International Business Management.

The proud dad posted an endearing father-son picture and a touching video capturing the moment his son accepted the prestigious award.

“Congratulations, #ntwanayami, on your Master’s in International Business Management from @genevabusinessschool! Cherishing these priceless moments in #Barcelona 🇪🇸,” he wrote.

In an interview with TshisaLIVE, the former Kalawa Jazmee maestro expressed immense pride in his son’s accomplishments.

“It’s not easy for a child to be in a foreign country but I knew the only way for him to succeed in life was to throw him in the deep end so he could become self-dependent,” the report quoted Oskido as saying.

The DJ also offered sage advice to his son, urging him to stay focused on his academic pursuits and to avoid regressing to old habits that hinder personal growth.

“I told him not to go backwards to habits and situations that weren’t helping him to evolve. I kept on reminding him why he decided to move forward. Stay positive about what’s to come by being consistent with your changes.”
