Cape Town — South African actress and presenter, Bonang Matheba, stole the show at the L’Oréal Paris ‘Walk Your Worth’ fashion show held in Franschhoek last week.
The glamourous event celebrated empowerment and diversity and was a celebration of South African talent, which took place in the beautiful backdrop of the Cape Winelands, The South African reported.
Bonang rocked a gold evening gown that was laced with jewels and sequins. She rounded off the look with gold jewellery and gold shoes. She shone on the nigth as she shared pictures and videos alingside some of the other star-studded guests, including Miss South Afric 2o23, Natasha Joubert.

During a pre-show interview, Bonang said the show was about celebrating who you are.
“Fashion is a tool for empowerment, and tonight we’re showing the world what South Africans can do,” she said.
The fashion show was inspired by L’Oréal Paris’ legendary “Le Défilé” in Paris. It has brought together some of the country’s finest talent. Aming the designers on the night included Rich Mnisi, Tshepo Jeans, KLûK CGDT, and Mantsho presented collections that blended modernity with South African heritage.
Each piece reflected the vibrancy and creativity of the local fashion scene.
Bonang’s role went beyond just modelling. Her larger-than-life presence added gravitas to the event’s cultural significance.
Sharing the limelight was international actress and L’Oréal Paris sub-Saharan Africa ambassador Thuso Mbedu.

The Franschhoek location added to the evening’s magic. Surrounded by rolling vineyards and majestic mountains, the show created a sensory experience. It fused beauty, culture, and nature.
Bonang echoed this sentiment, saying, “Franschhoek is pure magic. It’s the perfect setting to celebrate our nation’s incredible talent.”
