Cape Town — South African celebrity couple, Andile and Tamia Mpisane, have taken to social media to show off their second child, nearly two months after his birth.
The couple, who have a daughter named Miaandy (a hybrid of Tamia and Andile’s name) welcomed their second child via an Instagram post. It was no secret that Tamia was pregnant and the family quietly announced their son’s birth, with plans for the child to be announced on MaMkhize’s reality TV show.
However, Andile and Tamia finally broke the news to their respective followers and announced that their daughter, Messiah Shauwn Junior Mpisane, was born on 20 September 2023. They explained what a blessing she has been and also explained the meaning behind the choice of her name.
“The name “Messiah” holds a profound meaning, resonating deeply with the hopes and dreams we have for our remarkable daughter. In its essence, Messiah represents a chosen one, a savior, or a deliverer. We have given this name to our beautiful daughter as she entered this world with a purpose – to radiate light, love, and compassion to all those she encounters.”
“She is also named after her incredible grandmother, Shauwn, encapsulating qualities that we admire and wish to pass on to our little one. Shauwn is a symbol of resilience, drive, and determination. With this name, we honor the strength and unwavering spirit that runs through generations in our family.” the statement read.
They then also wrote a heartfelt message to Miaandy, saying they will always be there to love and support her and that she will always be protected and guided.
“To our dearest daughter, may you always feel the love and support that surrounds you. May you grow up with an unshakable belief in your own strength and abilities. May you understand that you are destined for greatness and that your potential knows no bounds. Above all, may you always be safe, protected, and guided by divine grace.” they concluded.
