Cape Town – South African socialite and fitness guru, Sbahle Mpisane, recently revealed how injuries sustained during her car accident in 2018 made her become suicidal.
In April this year, the fitness bunny opened up about the accident that left her in intensive care for three months after her blue BMW 4 series collided with a tree.
She reportedly took to her Instagram stories, detailing her failed suicide attempts, the first attempt being in 2018 while she was still in hospital after her car accident.
“In 2018 while in hospital I attempted to hang myself but my nurse walked in just as I did so. In 2019 I well planned my suicide attempt but woke up four days later. I apologised and promised God not to test him again as he saved my life three times,” IOL quoted her as saying.

While she never attempted suicide again, she admitted that in 2021 she had a number of suicidal thoughts and considered burning herself to death, but therapy helped.
She said that 2022 had had its own struggles, but she found “more relaxation in seeing her family and skin renewal has been a cherry on top”, reported TshisaLIVE.
“The thought of having no ankle bone or a promising future has never sat well with me and it still doesn’t. I don’t plan to commit suicide, my therapist has been helpful and my psychologist has placed me under medication.
“I know I have a lot to be grateful for but when emotions kick in we all become weak. I am still weak, I still don’t understand my survivals but maybe there’s a purpose for it all,” the report quoted Sbahle’s post.
