Cape Town – Grammy award-winning DJ, Nkosinathi Maphumulo, popularly known as ‘Black Coffee’, is set to receive an International Achievement Award at the 28th iteration of the South African Music Awards (SAMAs) on Sunday, August 28.
The award will honour the internationally renowned DJ’s international music career that has seen him collaborate with big international artists such as Drake, gracing big stages and filling up stadiums around the world.

Topping the list of Black Coffee’s international accolades was winning his first Grammy Award in the category Best Dance/Electronic Album for his Subconsciously studio album and becoming the first African DJ to win Grammy.
The famous DJ was also credited as producer and co-writer on Drake’s latest album, Honestly, Nevermind.
