Cape Town – South African television presenter and musician Mzwakhe “Robot Boii” Mbuli and comedian Mpho “Mpho Popps” Modikoane will be joining media personalities Nandi Madida and Lawrence Maleka as the hosts for the 28th South African Music Awards (SAMA28) hosts.
The award’s organisers announced the news on Twitter.
“Sihamba no @MphoPopps and @Robot_Boii as they will be hosting the night one awards Live at Sun City this weekend! Wena uzobe ukuphi? Asambeni! #SAMA28,” said the organisers.

According to Sunday World, the award ceremony will take place on the evening of August 27 and August 28.
Both of the ceremonies will take place at the Sun City Superbowl in Sun City, North West.
The first night will be live streamed on the SAMA TikTok platform and will be hosted by Robot Boii and Mpho Popps.
Lawrence Maleka and Nandi Madida will share the Night 2 stage, which will be broadcast live on SABC 1 at 20:00, said the report.
