Cape Town — South African music star Prince Kaybee has revealed what it would take for him to step into the ring with Cassper Nyovest — and it isn’t cheap.
During an interview on the POPcast Kaybee said:
“If there was a good number, I would get in the ring. It’s not a good number. Cassper’s team sent an email to my team saying something like R500,000. I’m not going to get in the ring for R500,000,” he said.
“I don’t take the beef between me and Cassper personally, it’s all jokes. I once met him at an airport, and I laughed the whole time, and he was serious. I don’t take it seriously. Even when we go to the ring, I’m not going to take it that seriously. But if we are going to do it, let’s do it the proper way. Give me what I want … For me to get out my house, R2.5m.” he added.
Cassper is one of the biggest names in SA music and also celebrity boxing.
He has maintained that he would like to fight Kaybee.
He also wants a rematch with NaakMusiQ and step into the ring with Big Zulu, TimesLIVE said.
“Even after the knockout, I think he is exactly what I thought he would be. A big puncher, always relying on his right. I’m not too concerned about the weight advantage,” Nyovest said after Big Zulu’s first fight.
In response, Zulu said he was ready for the fight and wanted Nyovwst to announce a date.
“It would be easy if you can just announce a date — and then say whatever else you want to say,” he said.
