Cape Town – Seasoned thespian Florence Masebe took to Twitter during the week to urge the South African Police Service (SAPS) to make a speedy arrest on the alleged murder of fellow actor Siyanda Sesimani.
Siyanda died last week on Friday after succumbing to his head injuries following an alleged burglary at his home in Soweto, Johannesburg.
“The police must find Siyanda Sesimani’s murderers. They have to,” said Florence.

According to TimesLive, a close friend of Siyanda and his family spokesperson Zola Hashatsi said that he will take it upon himself to open a case of murder for the alleged perpetrators who are still at large.
“A case will be opened. The post-mortem has to take place tomorrow, but a case will be opened. I will open it myself. He was literally attacked. This was a murder. We will fight and we will find them,” the report quoted Zola as saying.
On Sunday Scandal! actor Melusi Mbhele took to his Instagram account to share a video clip of a candle-lit memorial gathering that took place at the late actor’s house between close friends and family.
Details surrounding Siyanda’s burial ceremony are yet to be made public by his family.
