Cape Town – South African music star Babes Wodumo has encouraged her fans to vote for Big Nuz’s song Ngeke which has been nominated for a number of MetroFM awards.
The MetroFM Awards are one of the music industry’s more prestigious awards.
Many artists are hoping to take home awards such as “Song of the Year” or “Artist of the year”. The awards ceremony is set to take place from 5-7 May in Mpumalanga at the Mbombela stadium.

With the ceremony coming up soon, artists who have been nominated are encouraging their fans to send in their votes for them and their songs. Babes Wodumo has done the same on behalf of her late husband, Mampintsha.
According to Times Live, Babes went live on Mampintsha’s Facebook page to let fans know what this would have meant for Mampintsha.
“Siya vota. Please vote for Big Nuz. Please make sure you vote for Big Nuz. So guys please do me a favour and vote. I will dance. They’ve been nominated in the best duo, best kwaito/gqom and song of the year. Please do this for my husband if he were here he would’ve been happy,” she said.
