Cape Town – South African rapper Emtee has taken to social media to warn fans about giving money to his former driver who, according to the rapper, is going around posing as his manager
“There’s a gentleman by the name Thabang/ Thabani going around claiming to be my manager. He was just a driver and we no longer work with him so please do not give him money/ booking etc,” the rapper wrote on Twitter.

The rapper received a bit of backlash from followers, not for the scam, but for the way in which the driver had been hired in the first place.
So you hired a guy that you don’t know who he actually is between Thabang & Thabani?
Do you have his id and drivers license?

In December last year, Emtee took to social media to let his followers know that he was equipped with a bulletproof vest, as he speculated that some people were out to kill him.
Speaking to his followers on Instagram live, the rapper showed that the vest he was wearing was the “real deal”, as he puffed on his cigarette.
