Cape Town – As he continues to fight the battle against cancer, former radio host Mark Pilgrim shared a Christmas update with fans on his Instagram account.
Pilgrim, who was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer earlier in the year, has been in hospital for over 50 days and continuously provides updates of his procedures and surgeries to keep his fans in the loop.
He posted a collage of pictures to Instagram, including a Christmas tree and his wife and daughters sharing a Christmas meal with him. He also thanked HotFM radio for supplying the food and decorating the room.
“Would have been nice being home for Christmas. More important though is who you spend it with ??. Adrienne, the girls and I making the most of the room ??. Thank you to Lloyd and the team at @hot1027fm for supplying the traditional Christmas dinner, decorating the room and making it so special!???? #dontstopbelieving,” the caption read.

According to News24, Pilgrim started celebrating the festive season earlier this month when he shared a photo of himself wrapped “like a Christmas tree” to film a “quick video” for his radio station. Pilgrim continues to recover in the General Ward after undergoing multiple medical procedures and spending a month in the Intensive Care Unit.
