Cape Town – Harriet and Hector (played by Connie Ferguson and Rapulana Seiphemo respectively) on Mzansi magic’s The Queen took fans by surprise when they tied the knot in a stunning wedding which was shot in Avianto in Muldersdrift, Johannesburg.
The wedding was done in grand style, with Harriet walking down the aisle in a dress made by the famous Birgit “Biji” Gibbs La Maison de Couture, who also made Zozibini Tunzi’s beaded black-and-white dress that she wore when she has crowned Miss Universe in 2019, according to Drum.
Biji – La Maison de Couture also designed Connie’s dress for her wedding to her late husband Shona Ferguson in 2001 and also her tenth-anniversary dress in 2011.

“My #wcw is Biji Gibbs of @biji_la_maisonvBiji is the genius couturier behind my wedding dress in 2001, my 10th-anniversary vow renewal dress in 2011, and now the show-stopping wedding dress for Harriet Khoza-Sebata on #thequeenmzansi.
“The love and respect I have for Biji is beyond! All three dresses were made in record time! But Harriet’s dress takes the cup! She made it from concept to finish in 3 weeks!? Not how she prefers to work naturally, but she really came through for a girl,” wrote Connie in an Instagram post.
