Cape Town – Award-winning South African actress, Thuso Mbedu took to Instagram on Tuesday to share snaps of herself rubbing shoulders with the Hollywood A-listers at the Oscars Oscars Vanity Fair after-party.
The event took place at the Wallis Annenberg Centre for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California.
According to TimesLive, the impressive guest list included Will Smith, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, Mindy Kaling, Jessica Alba, Kim Kardashian, Lori Harvey, Venus Williams, Zendaya, Kate Hudson, Anya Taylor-Joy and many more celebrity A-listers.
“For the books,” wrote Thuso.

“Special salute to everyone who made this day so special. From the baddest warriors in the room: to every new face that received me so warmly and openly, to my entire team that made it possible for me to be in the presence of greatness,” she said.
In a separate post, Thuso could be seen rubbing shoulders with Kelly Rowland and dancing amidst Hollywood royalty, including Will Smith, as he scooped his Oscar award in celebration alongside South African comedian, Trevor Noah.
“I remember talking to Trevor Noah and thinking “no man, I don’t have to be speaking English with this guy” Pretty sure I spoke 95% Zulu after that,” said Thuso.
