Cape Town – Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rhulani Mokwena has caused quite a stir on social media after sexy pictures from his photoshoot went viral.
Social media reacted with shock, accusing the soccer coach of trying to steal the “limelight” from players.
Others, however, thought he was what South African soccer needed to redefine masculinity.
According to Sunday World, the former football player and manager is the fifth media figure to be highlighted in the online magazine Nounouche.
He manages the Rhulani Mokwena Foundation which aims to use football as a tool to advance other socially good, long-term development goals, and has mentored young coaches since it was founded, the report said.

He must be disciplined for doing this. pic.twitter.com/UyhzWJQZff

I love Rhulani mina but this is disappointing. Where has he seen a coach do this. He wants to be superstar. He competes with players for limelight.

What’s wrong with him doing this? He’s good looking, has a great body, he’s young and he’s NOT a spiritual leader. We need to stop policing people, if he’s comfortable with it, LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!!!

Coach Rhulani is exactly what SA ⚽️ needs. Some1 to redefine masculinity. Not all of it is toxic but most of it in ⚽️ is. 2ndly, to show to be a ⚽️ person is to also be a brand and business. Instead of laughing, take notes. Besides, he’s a good looking man. Why not? I ♥️ this ? pic.twitter.com/Dk5i02utJb
