Cape Town – In the wake of AKA’s death in February, the rest of the Forbes family have shown incredible support to the loved ones that AKA left behind, especially DJ Zinhle and Nadia Nakai.
Lynn Forbes, AKA’s mother, had made a promise to DJ Zinhle and Nadia Nakai at AKA’s memorial service in February, assuring them that they would always be part of the family.
Zinhle is the mother of AKA’s daughter and Nadia was AKA’s girlfriend at the time of his murder.
“Forever, both of you, though Kiernan is not around anymore, you are always welcome and you will always be my daughters, and I don’t care what anybody says on social media about you. They don’t matter. You matter because I love you,” she said, according to The Citizen.
Taking to Instagram, Lynn shared images of the extended Forbes family that included DJ Zinhle and Nadia. The family has been instrumental in helping each other through the healing process following the tragic death.

Lynn Forbes continues to be a source of support for the two women whom she calls her daughters and treated them as family even when AKA was alive.
Nadia shared images of the family day out when she posted a picture of herself, DJ Zinhle and Kairo together and wrote a beautiful caption with it.
“What is Collateral Beauty? The very idea of collateral beauty is that no matter how dark or how difficult the time is, there is something beautiful that is happening right there. You just have to look. ❤️”
