Cape Town – Johannesburg mayor Mpho Phalatse reportedly married political analyst, Brutus Malada over the weekend.
Pictures of the love birds circulated on social media and have set tongues wagging, as they belong to different political parties.
Phalatse from the Democratic Alliance (DA), became mayor of the city in November last year, while Malada is a member of Action SA.
In the circulating images, Phalatse is wearing an off-white dress and Malada, who spots a dark-coloured suit, stands in front of a priest, a bible in sight and with a few people looking on.
The pictures have created much speculation on social media, with some calling the reported wedding a “coalition” while others thoughts it looked “rushed” with an “underdressed” bride.

The ANC lost local elections in November last year and the city council chose Phalatse from the DA to lead the city.
According to SowetanLive, Malada is a famous political strategist, research consultant, and public figure, who has worked in multinational institutions.
While Phalatse has not commented on the alleged union, the report said the alleged newlyweds will release a statement on the matter.

I said the same ? it can’t be her this underdressed at her own wedding when she’s usually doing the absolute most on less deserving events.
