Cape Town – An inspired fan recently showed his appreciation of South African entrepreneur, DJ Sbu, by cutting an image of him and his Mofaya beverage on one of his clients’ hair.
The barber, Vein Unity, shared snaps of the haircut, showcasing his creativity and skills along with an appreciation note.
“In honour of the best hustlers I personally look up to. I could say many words about how you Inspire me Mkhuluwa DJ Sbu, Not Just as the Barber but as an entrepreneur I’m also looking forward on Building my Brand Veinrawyalbarbers Like you did on Mofaya,
“This is to honor you Mkhuluwa your energy Sparks Us too,” read the note.
It wasn’t long before Vein’s post was spotted by DJ Sbu, who acknowledged his skill and offered to gift him.

Taking to his Instagram timeline, DJ Sbu shared the snaps of the barber and said he was humbled by the gesture, adding that he would send him a MoFaya branded jumpsuit and a complimentary stock of drinks.
“Creativity at its best Vein Unity congratulations. I’m humbled for the love and bravery to have me on your head my brother. I can smell the flowers, and they’re highly appreciated. May you be blessed in everything you touch,” he wrote.
Followers of the music producer and YouTube channel “The Hustlers Corner SA” host took to the comments section to express their thoughts on the barber’s skills. Some wanted the haircut for themselves.
The barber’s appreciation post came shortly after pictures of the DJ’s “unkept look” went viral on social media, setting tongue wagging about his ungroomed beard and hair.
In the pictures, the radio personality could be seen wearing oversized shades, and an oversized sweater. He also spotted what many social media users described as “ungroomed beard and dreadlocks”.
