Cape Town – A bit of downtime always does the world of good, and South African singer, Bobby Van Jaarsveld took his family to Mozambique for a vacation where he also celebrated his 12-year wedding anniversary with his wife.
The artist kept his followers updated with regular posts during his vacation, sharing the special moments he had with his family while in the paradise-like country of Mozambique.
He also wished his followers a happy new year.
“Basically all I want to say is may 2023 be one of the best yet for all of us. May we have mercy for each other and may we build each other up, embrace and share love where we are,” he wrote in the caption of one of his posts.

He also took the time out to wish his wife a happy anniversary, highlighting how they have weathered many storms.
“12 years married today,” he wrote.
“And from [standard] 9 (Gr 11) all together.
“Can’t honestly say that it was easy until here, but the fact that we can still stand here in each other’s arms and laugh means that we have made it through many storms together.
“I hate it when people say that marriage is hard work (but it’s also probably true) but it should be fun every now and then to be married and not just a “marriage-in and marriage-out” situation or rather Not a “here-I-want-in and here-I-want-out” situation ?.
“But thanks Anna… we keep the balance well I think. We fight well but we also make out just as well or maybe better. I really learn a lot from you even if I don’t want to admit it.
“You are an exceptional mother for our children and the perfect wife for me. And yes I will choose you again. Every day. Again and again…”
